She's so cool!

Aspiration, not desperation

You who find the least bit of sympathy/understanding/justification for the supposed Palestinian cause are (TIS) Terrorists in Spirit; You're the cultural fuel that terrorists need to keep killing and encouraging children to hope for death.

U.S. military 'sure' of catching bin Laden this year

Any speculation on why they might be doing this (besides that they already know Bin Laden is dead)?

I'm trying a new approach this week. Instead of show-prepping by emailing stories to myself, I'm going to link to all of them from this site, then comment on them as I have time. It will have the added benefit of giving people something to read, then speculate on what I'll have to say about it.

British troops to train Libyans

Sorry for the light blogging recently, but here's one that's worth the wait. Check out this picture of a soldier crossing his fingers while shaking hands with the Hildebeast.

As difficult as the fighting in Iraq has been on the morale of our soldiers, I believe that the vast majority of them know which party they trust for their well-being. The dems know this too, which is why they had their lawyers use technicalities to throw out military absentee ballots in Florida during the 2000 recount.

The Euro-peons have suspended a seminar to discuss anti-Semitism in Europe because two Jewish leaders accused Brussels of being "politically motivated" in withholding a report on violence against Jews.

This seminar cannot go ahead unless there is a visible change in attitude by these two organisations.

Can you imagine if any political leader in this country calling off a discussion about race relations because, for example, an African-American group made charges of racism? In this topsy-turvy-PC world, it's acceptable (at least in Europe) to be less 'sensitive' to certain groups than others.

This speech by Gov Schwarzenegger may be looked back on as a watershed event in the history of libertarianism's move into the mainstream.

I call on the Legislature to deliver real workers' comp reform to my desk by March 1. Modest reform is not enough. If modest reform is all that lands on my desk, I am prepared to take my workers' comp solution directly to the people, and I will put it on the ballot in November.

What a badass! He even invokes Reagan! Read the whole thing.
