You'll have to bear with me while I figure out this blog system, too...Well, here's a surprise...Mr Mugabe appears on a "watchdog's list of 'predators' of press freedom."
Tyrants hate free anything, and free press has got to go...here's the article from Ciar Byrne on Mugabe's treatment of the country's Daily News

Bloodshed, brutality and tyranny are still bloodshed, brutality and tyranny--no matter what skin color the perpetrators happen to have. To cling to support of Mugabe because his pretense for tryranny was ending racial inequality in Zimbabwe is to subrogate human rights for "black rights." Zimbabwe's crises, which include famine, rape and other egregious violations of individual rights, now transcend racial injustices. Mugabe is not a supporter of individual rights, which are color-blind and for all people. Like any good irrationalist dictator, he is gnashing his teeth at anyone anti-Mugabe, black or white. You cannot support Mugabe and individual rights...

...Even the other African leaders are starting to realize this. From the Christian Science Monitor (and for the record, I am not Christian), African criticism of Mugabe rises

"With half of Zimbabwe's 12 million people facing hunger, inflation over 600 percent, and state-sponsored torture a common tool, hints of criticism by regional leaders that began showing up last month have now started to expand.

Everyone from Nigeria's President Olesegun Obasanjo to Archbishop Desmond Tutu has distanced themselves from Mugabe. Even South African President Thabo Mbeki, his chief regional supporter, met last week for the first time with Zimbabwe's main opposition party. It may all portend greater desire to resolve southern Africa's biggest political crisis, and it could hasten the end of the Mugabe regime."
